Updates to Travel Analytics

Thursday, 19 September 2019

The Travel Analytics development team have been busy pushing out changes to Mark II travel reporting application.  The following is a summary of the changes, including a few screenshots help make sense of it all.

In this update:

  • Service fee merging
  • Scheduled and download report email message update
  • Bug fixes

Traveller Dashboard

This feature allows you to merge common (or duplicate) service fee types to remove duplication in your data.  Service fee merging works at the TMC level and NOT the customer level, therefore, if you have specific customer service fee descriptions you want to display in the data, then you cannot merge them into a common description.

Here’s how it works.  Navigate to the Service Fee Types dashboard within the Data Editing feature.  Using the search field, type in keywords to find the data you want to merge i.e. emergency (see below).

Select the fees you wish to merge using the checkboxes on the left-hand side of the table and click on the merge button.

In the pop-up, select the description you wish to see in the data or use the free text field to rename the service fee type (see below)

You can click on the unmerge link if you make a mistake or need to unmerge specific descriptions.

Pretty cool eh!

Scheduled and Download Report Email Message Update

We have updated the scheduled and download report request emails that are sent to your customers.  The new emails now contain your TMC name and a prompt to contact the account manager if they have any queries.  Here is an example of the new email format:

Subject: Total Travel Spend Report – Customer Name

Email Content:

Hi,

Please find attached the Total Travel Spend Report.
If you have any queries, please contact your [TMC NAME] Account Manager.

Kind Regards,

[TMC NAME]
