Travel Analytics Printable Report
We have updated the Printable Report format based on feedback from several TMC and their customers.
Report Formatting
The report formatting has been updated so it is accessible for visually impaired and low vision people. Specifically, we have updated the report as follows:
- Changed the font to Arial (San Serif fonts are recommended for text and headings)
- Headings 28 point (recommended 22 point or larger for print documents)
- Standard text is a minimum of 12 point (which is the lower end of the recommended font size, however, with the inclusion of new data we have had to use this size font)
- Used bold text in the table headings Removed the grey background from all slides (guidelines recommended grey is avoided for both text and background formatting)
- Removed small text (8 point) from the graphs on the ‘At a Glance’ slide (as the font was too small to be compliant with the guidelines. These can be added back to the graphs if required by right-clicking on the graphs and adding the required formatting)
- Updated the airfare expenditure data adding several new slides allowing more room for the fare type data to be displayed more predominately within the report.
Updated Data Tables
In addition to the format updates, we have also improved the content of the tables adding the previous period (corresponding period 12 months prior) and variance data for all expenditure categories, including:
- Airfare expenditure (domestic and international) Airfare expenditure by supplier (domestic and international)
- Airfare expenditure by destination (domestic city pairs and international destinations)
- Accommodation expenditure (domestic and international locations)
- Rental car expenditure (domestic and international)
- Rental car expenditure by supplier (rental days, expenditure and average daily rate)
- Rental car expenditure by location (domestic)
- All averages and variance data are calculated to two decimal points (for clarity purposes)
Furthermore, the report can be run across markets so domestic (and international) spend will adjust to the TMC’s location (i.e. if the TMC is in New Zealand then domestic show travel within New Zealand and International will show travel outside New Zealand).
